Following up on previous news item, here a short impression on the mounting of 2 oieces of  single girder overhead travelling cranes, working load 5.000kg wit a span of 27 meters.

It is always an impressive operation which of course needs a lot of preparation and planning, starting with the transportation of the crane, is the width of the crane not to great, is there transport guidance needed, van we enter the buiding, is the floor strong enough for a truck., is there enough space to turn the crane en lift it onto the tracks ?
Are there no obstacles, is the span correct , is there space enough above the crane rails ?

Recently delivered 2 pieces single girder overhead cranes, working load 5,000kg with a span of 27 meters, suitable for intensive use and equipped with STAHL crane components with an ISO classification M6

The choice here was clearly not for the cheapest version, this fault is still made all too often, but for a robust version with a STAHL steel wire roof and drives in the ISO M6 class suitable for heavy work.

We got a complex request from a customer for a double chain chain hoist with a short headroom and suitable for a mono beam with a curve of 90º, radius 1.000mm, capacity 2x 750kg, but with the possibility of lifting a load in one of the hooks of 1.500kg.

Together with the engineerings department of STAHL cranesystems, we set to work to develop a suitable solution for this situation and of course we succeeded. 

Another good example of a special AEX solution form STAHL cranesystems.
This is a suspended crane fitted with 2 pieces of ATEX wire rope hoists suitable for tandem lifting of a load.

Our crane inspectors are even active in the most remote areas of Europe, such as in IJsland where we have been able to realize a number of great projects in the past.

For a number of hydroelectric powerstations in Iceland, we have been asked to do a preliminary survey for upcoming major maintenace and modernization later this year. 
Good preparation is very important in this case, as the locations are far away from civilization.

In the late of this year we were able to inspect 48 davit cranes fot one of our customers at the Westermeerwind wind farm on the IJsselmeer.

Claudia Kroon passes the baton to Olaf Lodewijk

On November 1, 2007 Claudia Kroon joined Kraan Service Katwijk in the position of financial administrator. In the years that followed, the name change to CraneBuilders B.V. tookplace and later to the current name CraneSolutions B.V. During this time Claudia grew into the position of financial controller. With her sharp eye and decisiveness, she has made an important contribution to the growth of the company.

A few months ago, she decided to make a career switch and started training to become a doctor's assistant through a work-learning position at a doctor's practice. We wish her the best of luck! She passes the finncial controller baton to Olaf Lodewijk. Olaf has been working for us since 1 July and now he has a training period of one month. He and his team are ready and we look to the future with confidence. Olaf, welcome and good luck!

Our customer Katwijk Chemie, producer of Active Pharmaceutical Ingredients (API's) says goodbye to the old type R 12-8 / 2 2/1, which has been used since 1984 to lift the product out of the centrifuge.

The modular built chain hoist from STAHLCraneSystems GmbH with double chain and electric travel trolley, slightly different.

For order picking of various goods, our partner INDEVA, intellegent devices for handling, has developed something completely new, the Liftronic mobile.

The Liftronic mobile has been developed to be safe to use on anelectric pallet truck, is easy and save to move, suitable for mechanical grippers, a vacuum lifting system or a product specific tooling.

As preferred supplier, we were able to supply a beautiful batch of hoists for our customer NKM Noell Special Cranes. The double-ended steel wire rope hoist below is yet another fine example of the customer-specific hoists of STAHL CraneSystems GmbH.

In petrochemical industry explosive gas mixtures can occur even in open air and safety risks cannot be taken.
Often a standard ATEX solution is suficient, but a soon as it becomes special and a standard ATEX solution is no longer possible, then they quickly end up with the the specialists at STAHL cranesystems.

In this situation it handle a special ATEX wire rope hoist that is equipped with an articulated trolley in combination with a large lifting height. The articulated trolley ensures that the hoist can run under a mono beam with a curve. As power supply there was an ATEX V-shape festoon system been used.

Double girder overhead crane for aggressive environment

Often an overhead crane is often bought based on the purchase price and it is not properly examined whether the crane is suitable for the environment where it is used.
In the longer term, the maintenance and repair costs to keep the crane in operation can increase considerably.

Its better to make the right material and preservation choices in advance so that your new crane will last not only 10 years, but perhaps even 25 years.
Of course thorough annual maintenance remains necessary, but the repair costs will be considerably lower.

Recently delivered a new crane to the Vecom group, a specialist in surface treatment of stainless steel and other metals for the industry.

The crane is equipped with high-quality preservation, plastic festoon system, acid-resistant cabling and stainless steel fasteners.

Recently and with proud we have succefully installed a fully automatic grabbing crane for continuous operation, a nice sample of modern technology.

We recently delivered and commissioned 5 overhead cranes for a project in Eqypt for handeling molten metal in a new metal pouring facility.

Our supervisors had a tough job, but in coöperation with Egyptian technicians they managed to get the job done in time.

On the 17th, 18th and 19th of april 2018 CraneSolutions will be attending the exhibition Maintenance Gorinchem.

As a replacement and with great urgency we delivered 1 piece of Offshore column slewing crane with a capacity of 3 ton and an outreach of 2,5 meter. 

For Cargofloor we delivered 3 pieces of INDEVA column manipulators, with this equipment production speed increased and fysical stress for the workers  decreased, a win win situation.
